For those that missed the excitement, there was a "leak" of a WIP DCS: Huey official announcement page, which had a product introduciton and a few screenshots. However the page was not yet intended to go public and was "uncovered" by one of the forum members.

As we've said before, ED is currently finalizing version 1.2.3 update for DCS and the Huey is not going to be included in this release. The current plan is to move on to 1.2.4 quickly and package the Huey for that update.

We are still recording voiceovers for the third party campaign to be included with DCS: Huey. Hopefully that will be completed in time to be included with the release

Le immagini del cockpit dovrebbero essere quelle definitive , come si puo' notare e' cambiato il colore del pannello strumenti , ora completamente nero , ed' e' piu definito , davvero un gran bel lavoro .

I see the forum is starting to boil over again!

As mentioned previously, we are in the final testing stage, i.e. currently testing the installer and making last-minute fixes as needed. We were careful to say that this stage can take anywhere from days to weeks, so please be patient and give us the time needed to work through this process.

In recent weeks we've been working closely with a couple of Huey pilots added directly to the test team and as a result there has been a lot of tuning of the FM. We expect this process will continue after open beta release as well.

Besides the FM, some updates and improvements have continued to be made to the cockpit and external model. One of the more interesting ones just came in today. Although not functional yet, a FAT (free air temperature) gauge has been added to the top left corner of the right pilot’s front canopy. As many DCS Black Shark veterans no doubt appreciate, a simple FAT gauge is quite an important tool to have when considering the aircraft's performance capabilities and the dangers of icing.

Si lo penso anche io , per assurdo essendo molto piu' conosciuto e semplice per quanto riguarda il discorso avionica rispetto al kamov potrebbe raccogliere piu' interesse di quanto non si pensi , quindi e' da tenere sotto stretta osservazione .

Peraltro sul forum ED ha appunto raccolto l' interesse di moltissimi piloti , secondo me questo modulo e' destinato ad un sicuro successo .

Da notare la differenza della dinamica del volo rispetto al Kamov , la soluzione classica con rotore principale e rotore di coda infatti rende l' elicottero piu' instabile e nervoso con tutto cio' che ne consegue a livello di difficolta' di pilotaggio .

Eh aspetta con le facili conclusioni , lo Huey oltre ad avere la configurazione classica e' anche un rotore bipala , che significa maggiore instabilita' e conseguente maggiore difficolta' di pilotaggio , in confronto pilotare il kamov e' un gioco da ragazzi .

Una cosa e' sicura , con questa macchina ci sara' da divertirsi ( e da sudare )
