[News] DCS: BAE Hawk T1A by VEAO

:)

Mah...
Speriamo che ora facciano qualcosa di utile...

The Hawk first entered service with the RAF in 1976, both as an advanced flying-training aircraft and a weapons-training aircraft. The Hawk T1 version is currently used at RAF Valley for fast-jet pilot advanced flying training with No 208(R) Squadron, and at RAF Scampton by the RAF Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows.

The T1A is used for weapons and tactical training on No 19(R) Squadron at RAF Valley, and by No 100 Squadron at RAF Leeming for advanced fast-jet weapons systems officer training and operational support- flying. In its weapons and tactical training role the Hawk is used to teach air combat, air-to-air firing, air-to-ground firing and low-flying techniques and operational procedures.

While the Hawk T1 is used solely in the advanced flying-training role, the Hawk T1A is equipped to an operational standard and is capable of undertaking a number of war roles.

The T1A has four under-wing pylons cleared to carry Sidewinder AIM-9L air-to-air missiles, rocket pods, practice bombs and bombs, and can carry a 30mm Aden cannon in a pod underneath the fuselage centre-line. The cannon can be fired at the same time as any of the pylon-mounted weapons are selected for release or firing.

Key Features:

- Accurate and highly detailed 3D interactive cockpit featuing six-degrees-of-freedom (6DOF) technology compatible with head-tracking devices and Oculus Rift.
- Accurate modeling of the Hawk HUD, instruments, gauges and dials.
- High fidelity accurate Advanced Systems Modelling (ASM) such as electrical, fuel, hydraulics, oxygen, pressurisation and air conditioning, temperature control, pitot-static, AHRS, lighting and weapons system modelled to detailed schematics.
- Highly detailed Hawk external 3D model and liveries.
- Fully interactive, comprehensive training missions make learning to fly the Hawk easier.
- Armament includes: AIM-9M Sidewinders, bombs, practice bombs, rocket pods and gun pod.
- Highly detailed damage model.
- Standard Flight Model (SFM) included.

The licence keys will be issued out soon. Prior to release obviously.
And the file downloads will be from our site, although it shouldn't matter if from ED's site or ours as it's the same install file.

People that have pre-purchased EFM will download the upgrade file when available from our site.

Thanks,
Chris.

Quindi in sostanza entro la fine di novembre ci becchiamo SFM o quel che è e poi, data da destinassi, EFM che abbiamo comprato?

Hi Guys,
Firstly I'd like to thank everyone for your support during the development of Hawk and getting us to this point.

Cutting to the crux, we are having problems integrating the Starforce copy protection system.

The Hawk was pretty much ready at the beginning of the month with a few tweaks left to do here and there, using our own copy protection system.

However; in the interest of consistency ED asked us to switch to Starforce as it would tie the serial codes into your ED accounts and module manager within DCS itself which for you, the user would be beneficial.

Our expert coders are working with ED relentlessly to get the Starforce problems nailed down so we can release the module to you.

At this point in time I'm not sure if it will be ready for release this weekend and as you know I like to keep you guys informed every step of the way and want to be honest about that.

What I will do however is email those that have pre-purchased the Hawk a download link and serial code for our own protection system version of the pre-release Hawk so you can at least fly it over the weekend.

We'd like to thank you again for your support and understanding and expect an update soon on the Starforce issue.

Thanks,
Chris.

Per fine settimana un nuovo update?

Come detto , ricevuto il mio serial .. ;)

Dear VEAO customer,
We would like to thank you for your pre-order of the Hawk for DCS world.
Whilst we work to get the Beta release version working, we would like you to enjoy the preview version of the Hawk.

This is a preview version and not the Beta version due for release soon.
Some features are not implemented yet, textures are not final and this does not represent the final product and some features may change during Beta.

The activation code provided to you by either VEAO or ED will work with the preview version AND the Beta version, you do NOT need two separate keys.

Please refer to the installation and activation instructions found in the QuickStart guide here:
http://www.veaosimulations.co.uk/dcshawk/manuals/DCS_Hawk_QuickStart_Guide.pdf

To find your activation key on the ED store, go to the "My Orders" page under the Personal Section on their website here www.dcs-world.com and then go into the order details for the Hawk and your key will be shown in the "name" box.

Enter that key, or the key provided via Email from VEAO, into the activation box and click OK.

When you spawn into the Hawk within DCS World the product will activate for the first time. If in the cockpit you do not see the warning flags on the dials (if cold start) or none of the cockpit functions work then the product did not activate.
If all is working ok then the product did activate.
Refer to the QuickStart guide activation section for example pictures of this.

Here is the link to the installer file:
http://www.veaosimulations.co.uk/dcshawk/installers/DCSHawk_Preview_1.2.11-20.5-RC8.exe

If you have any problems with installation or activation please refer to the QuickStart guide and then contact support on support@veaosimulations.co.uk

Please read the preview Q&A page if you have any general questions here:
http://veaosimulations.co.uk/dcs-hawk-qa/

Kind Regards
Chris and the Hawk team

Please make sure you leave the box ticked for "Activate Hawk" when installing and enter the code you have been given.

Guys, I've just found out that the preview version does not run on Steam versions of DCS, it looks like you will need to wait until it's out on Steam, or install another copy of DCS World from direct download www.dcs-world.com. Apologies I didn't know this.
