Full Regulations of online tournament DCS "MiGs versus Sabres"

(hereinafter «tournament»):•Development of interest in the history of fighter aviation;
•Improvement of flight sportsmanship of virtual pilots (participants);
•Identification of the strongest participants, prize winners and champions;
•Attraction of the audience’s interest to the DCS World simulator;
The organizers of the tournament are:•The Eagle Dynamics company;
•Smile Pilots Club.
1 Conditions of admission to the tournament.
1.1 All interested people who have the following software, are admitted to the tournament:•DCS World (Open beta 1.5.x);
•Purchased and installed module MiG-15bis or F-86F (Sabre);
•Voice communication program TeamSpeak 3;
•Voice communication program Skype.
1.2 The participant of the tournament must be registered (have his account) at the official forum of the developers of the flight simulator DCS World - Eagle Dynamics (ED) (Section 9).
1.3 The organizers, that is persons from the number of the Smile Pilots Club (SPC) and/or the developers of Eagle Dynamics (ED Team) are not admitted to the tournament.
1.4 To exclude any fraud, only one participant from one accounts (and, consequently, with one UCID ) is admitted to the tournament.
Other players who use one account with one key of DCS:MiG-15bis and/or DCS:F-86F module for several clients (and whose UCID is one for all clients for one account) will not be admitted to the tournament.
2 The procedure of the tournament and general provisions.
2.1 The competition permits flights on the following types of jet airplanes:•MiG-15bis;
•F-86F (Sabre).
2.2 Each participant chooses for himself the type of plane (MiG-15bis or F-86F) on which he will keep fighting during all the tournament. Change of the type of plane during the tournament is prohibited.
2.3 The competition will be hold in duel mode (Player vs Player).
2.4 The competition will be hold according to the Olympic system (Annex 1).
2.5 Primary distribution in pairs is carried out by draw on 13.11.2015.
2.6 The draw is carried out randomly at the portal Challonge.com (Section 9).
2.7 Graphical progress of the participants (tournament table) is displayed at the portal Challonge.com.
2.8 Distribution of prize places:•The first place is taken by the participant who passed all the tournament grid and won in the final ;
•The second place is taken by the participant who passed all the tournament grid and lost in the final;
•The third place is taken by the winner of and additional match between the participants who had lost in semi finals.
2.9 The prize fund of the tournament is 800 USD. Of them:•The winner for the 1st place- 400 USD;
•The prize winner for the 2nd place- 250 USD;
•The prize winner for the 3rd place- 150 USD.
2.10 The order of obtaining the prize (the money):
At the end of the tournament each prize winner (within the term of up to 3 days from the moment of the end of the tournament) must advise to the organizers (representatives of CFP: Hellboy, MI1T), via the system of personal messages of ED forum, the convenient way of obtaining the money prize. To make obtaining the money prize faster and easier, the prize winner has to inform about his bank details, in case if he has any. Otherwise, the prize may be sent via a money transfer system (for example, “UNISTREAM” or another).
2.11 The server for holding tournaments will be chosen out of the optimum values of ping of participants from different countries.
The training server of the tournament is «GUNS’N’ROSES Arena Server (SPC)» (IP: 89.175.185.195 port 1030, enabling to practice the skills of fighting in duel modes and in the following formats: «MiG-15bis vs F-86F», «MiG-15bis vs MiG-15bis», «F-86F vs F-86F».
2.12 The official languages of communication in the tournament during the matches are Russian and English (international).
2.13 All matches of the tournament will be played with online transmission at YouTube-channel "ClanOfAces" with obligatory delay of the video stream (Section 9).
2.14 All dates and time are indicated for the time zone -«GMT +3» (Moscow).
3 The rules of the matches.
3.1 Each match may consist of (maximum) 3 fights (best of 3), on the results of which the winner of the match is determined. Permissible values of the score for the win in the match are: •For the red side «2:0», «2:1»;
•For the blue side «0:2», «1:2».
3.2 If one of the sides attains the score «2:0» or «0:2», the third fight shall not be held.
3.3 In case of tie situation, additional fights shall be hold with the purpose of attaining permissible score in accordance with the paragraph 3.1.
The following situations shall be deemed tie:
Both participants cannot continue the fight because of absence of ammunition and/or fuel in the tanks;
Collision of the planes of two participants with each other, irrespective from their damage.
3.4 In case if after holding three fights the results of the match did not reveal the winner, the following additional fights shall be held till the first win of one of the participants who will be deemed the winner of the match.
3.5 Maximum permissible ping of a participant during the matches must not surpass 250 ms . In case if participant surpasses maximum permissible ping value, he is not admitted for fights. In this case the match may be postponed by the referee, or a technical defeat be scored.
3.6 In case of loss of connection with the server by a participant during a fight, a technical defeat in the fight will be scored to him. In case if a participant of a match failed to restore the connection with the server during 5 minutes, a technical defeat in this match will be scored to him.
3.7 The participants’ lags (trajectory stability, disappearance etc.) and their influence on the course of fight) are evaluated by the referees, and on their decision a technical defeat in the fight may be scored to a participant.
3.8 The conduct of the match:•Before beginning of a match, both participants and the referee must be in the voice communication system TeamSpeak3 and on the meeting server;
•The referee has the right to remind to the participants of a match the basic rules of fight and other extracts from the regulations at his discretion;
•The participants have to occupy the allotted slots and, on the referees’ command (voice or text) to begin the fight; ;
•The referee determines the winner in the fight in accordance with the paragraphs 3.3, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7;
•The referee determines the winner in the match in accordance with the paragraphs 3.1 - 3.4;
•At the end of a fight, the referee gives a voice or a text command, and the participants go out to observers.
