The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is widely regarded as Germany's best fighter aircraft of World War II. Its appearance in the skies over France in August 1941 was a rude shock to the Allies, as it was clearly superior to any other plane. For nearly a year, the Fw 190 was the unmatched champion of the air war in Europe. The Fw 190 had speed and high altitude performance as its two great assets.

The development of advanced allied fighters resulted in the Fw 190 D–9 variant which first saw service in September 1944. This variant had a larger nose that housed a more powerful Junkers Jumo engine that produced 2,100 hp with the MW-50 boost system. The D-9 was designed for high altitude aerial combat and is a worthy adversary to the P-51D Mustang.

Assolutamente , un' altro modulo veramente eccellente che nom può mancare nell' hangar per coloro chen sono interessati agli aerei storici , e che tra l' altro è anche una mossa commerciale molto indovinata che da un senso alla presenza del Mustang permettendo il dogfight tra piloti umani con macchine della stessa era...

Se ho capito le ottime strategie di marketing della ED credo proprio che aspetterò i prossimi saldi per comprarlo! Mi serve un polverizzatore di Mustang..avrei preferito un Veltro, ma mi accontento colentieri del Dora [:headbang]

Anche un Saetta sarebbe carino, ma anche a livello reale credo sarebbe ben inferiore al Mustang o al 190. In ogni caso anche io punto ai saldi, anche perchè i bonus che avevo accumulato sono scaduti il 1° Giugno: sono veramente dei geni, se avevo già tutti i moduli cos'avrei dovuto comprare? Direi di no , secondo me ci sarà ma non in tempi brevi , considerando che il 5 Agosto esce anche il Dora , diciamo che potrebbe esserci per la fine di Agosto/inizio Settembre ma non credo prima , ovviamente mi auguro di essere smentito visto che anche io stò aspettando la prossima promozione...
