Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain (now officially known as the United Kingdom).

To celebrate this day, VEAO Simulations are giving away two copies of the F-86 Sabre and Hawk T.1A showing off two iconic aircraft from both countries.

All you need to do to enter is send an email to the following address competition@veaosimulations.co.uk with the subject line "Independence Day Competition".

Two winners will be picked at random on Sunday 13th July during the Flying Legends air show, from the emails received.
Each winner will receive a copy of the F-86 Sabre and Hawk when they are released.

Good luck and Happy Independence Day,
Chris.

104th Phoenix VFBS Christmas Screenshot Contest
Win a DCS Module of Your Choice!

Xmasscreenshotcontest-1.jpg

It is Christmas time and 104th_Santa Claus, who recently bought the DCS Reindeer module, has brought some presents for you!

1st Place: You get to pick a DCS Module of Your Choice. Be it on sale or full price, the choice is yours!
2nd Place and 3rd Place: Your Screenshots will be published along with your names on our frontpage.
Rules:

1. You can submit ONE screenshot PER PERSON. Deadline is December 19th 2014

2. The screenshot has to be taken over WINTER TERRAIN, and can be taken either Singleplayer or Multiplayer in any server. (The 104th Server will host all missions in Winter until Christmas). Note: At least a part of winter terrain has to be visible in order for the screenshot to count.

3. Register on www.104thphoenix.com - if you have no account yet.

4. Post the screenshot in this thread ( http://www.104thphoenix.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=4189 ) via URL. You can also post a download link or both.

5. Photoshopping is not allowed. However you can use mods that pass the 104th Integrity Check. (We recommend 104th_Mustang's Shader and Land Textures mods, although they are not required! see link below.)

6. Submit your name and/ or callsign (and if you want Squadron name) together with the screenshot.

7. Winners will get contacted via PM. The details of the transaction of your prize will be discussed on 104th Teamspeak.

8. Please refrain from excessive screenshot use on the server. We still want to keep normal business. Take no more than 3 screenshots in sequence. If someone else has just taken a screenshot - unless you'd miss the one rare moment - please wait a couple of seconds befor you take yours. Abusers will be removed from the server.

9. If taken on a public server, screenshots have to be taken in accordance to the Server Rules.

10. Members and cadets from the 104th Phoenix VFBS are excluded from the contest.

GOOD LUCK!

Note: What your screenshot contains is totally up to you. We will select the three most beautiful and appealing to us, be it action, formation, landscape, take-offs, landings, etc. Overall it should be extraordinary in displaying the character and beauty of DCS World.

With this contest we would like to say thank you for your donations, without which we could not host our 51 clients server. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you!

Hi guys,

I like keeping my games organized by steam. So many times, I bought a new module on ED, and normally, tend to merge it to my steam account. But ever since the divide, I bought Mig-21 at release on EDshop, but then re-bought it on steam for my primary game. Also, helps support DCS and its modules.

So, in the spirit of christmas, I wanted to organize this giveaway. The key is still bound to my account, but once the giveaway is done, I will unbind it and send it to the winner. Note: This will be a DCS shop key. You cannot integrate it with STEAM.

Conditions:

1) You have to be an existing DCS forum member for atleast a few months...lets say registered before July 2014.
2) Based on an idea from a previous giveaway here,  create your best sketch...simple drawing of ANY DCS aircraft. OR just post down here that "You want the Mig 21". :p SIMPLER eh?
3) I will pick a random post # through a random number generator and award the key to them.
4) Deadline: Dec 24th

cheers and season's greetings.

Mah...personalmente questi concorsi a premi trovo che siano diventati troppo inflazionati , va bene farne uno ogni tanto ma adesso pare che sia diventata la regola.....
