Dear friends and followers,
thank you for your patience, but finally the website for the donation is online. Now it is up to you if this DLC ever will be released.

The release plan is as follows:

The texture pack is on hold until the amount of 2000$ is reached. Then the T3 package will we provided for the whole community for free. When the amount of donations will reach 3000 $, I will release the T4 package under the same conditions.
Please be aware that this is not only a mod, even it has lost its official status, contentwise it is still a DLC. I put more than a year of work into this, many rounds of corrections with Eagle Dynamics and and a lot of attention to detail. But the main feature is that I always followed my personal guideline: Passion for quality.

That is why I can’t just give it out for free. I hope you understand.

First goal is reached!

Finally I am very proud to announce that the DLC for DCS versions 1.5.x is ready for download:

1.Step
Due to the fact that this DLC contains several lua-files (config files) which will overwrite the core files, there is no better way than installing it via JSGME. A very detailed guide how to install can be found in the forum:

So please follow these instructions first.

2.Step
Download the DLC via the button "Download Caucasus DLC 1.5.x" on the DLC website.

3.Step
Unzip content.

4.Step
Drag and drop the folder "Caucasus Map DLC by Starway" into your JGMSE -mods folder

5.Step
You should now see the folder "Caucasus Map DLC by Starway"  listened under "Available mods". Klick on it and than press the first button with the arrow pointing to the right. The folder will then move to the right side. That's it. Enjoy your flight!


An alternative way would be to drag and drop the content of the zip into your main DCS folder and overwrite if asked. But than you have to repeat this procedure after every update, and your original files will be lost without a backup.

Comunque a sentir parlare Wags poco tempo fa sembrava dovessero inglobare questa cosa nel DCS 2 invece sarà a pagamento..e maremma maiala tocca solo le texture, quindi zero collisioni con gli alberi.. 15 doppi dollari per un po' di colore..io passo, tanto conosco otto colori e non riesco neanche a distinguerli che sono daltonico

Mmm..no no..qua si parla di texture..se prendete taker di news3d è da anni che lavora sulle texture di lockon FC prima e DCS poi con risultati eccellenti, e non ha mai chiesto nulla in cambio se non partecipare al foum..

Degli scennery di terze parti se ne parlerà dopo che avranno rilasciato le sdk

In sostanza Starway ha aggirato il problema con le donazioni (che a quanto pare sono arrivate copiose) e stasera rilascerà la versione per la
1.5 come DLC free

beh se merita e non impatta sulle performance e mi verrà voglia di usarla donerò anche io

Sono texture che non influenzano a quanto pare l'integrity chk e non danno un vantaggio sullo spotting dei nemici, quindi non vedo il problema a farlo usare a chi lo volesse installare... per di più nella comunità ED non credo che ci sia qualche matto che con un dlc del genere gratuito non lo usi.

Starway di sicuro continuerà a dare supporto su questo prodotto... una volta diventato gratuito, spero che ED lo usi direttamente nella versione  di DCSW1.5

Ho provato a scaricarlo, e ho provato anche ad installarlo sulla open beta, ma senza riuscirci... Qualcuno ha capito come fare?
